Now while snooping about on the internet as always, I discovered many people do not actually know the importance of cleaning their makeup brushes (some people confessed they have never had their makeup brushes cleaned, yikes) and many people have no idea how to clean their brushes properly so I will try to break it down:

It cleans my brushes so well, they look and feel brand new. I got this MAC brush cleanser awhile and I have used about half of it now so I can give an unbiased product review. I won’t go out and buy five different shades of red lipsticks for example. I won’t say I am obsessed with MAC or any other cosmetic brand for that matter. Guess MAC Cosmetics has become a worldwide beauty name and every girl, regardless of her race wants a piece of them. Whenever I run out of any beauty product or I need a new beauty tool, I always think of going to a MAC counter first before I think of other cosmetic brands.

If you love your makeup brushes and want to extend their life, keep them healthy, fresh and clean then you must get this product.Whenever I think of Beauty, I think of MAC. Although the size of the bottle is massive but it’s a must have product from MAC.

I am also planning to replace some of the brush cleanser in a spray bottle and use it because it will prevent wasting and I prefer to spray my bristles.Ĥ) It conditions the brush’s fibers so that brushes will last longer.ĥ) It doesn’t make bristles scratchy or out of shape.Ħ) Very less amount of product is needed.ħ) Brushes become clean and fresh & feels soft and smooth just like a new brush after its washed with the cleanser.ĩ) It also disinfects makeup brushes and keeps them germ free.ġ0) Its a must have for every makeup kit. And sometimes when I am running out of time I directly pour few drops on a soft tissue paper and swipe the bristles gently (as shown here) until when I rub the brushes, no more makeup comes off. How I use my Mac’s Brush Cleanser – I generally mix a little quantity with some water in a glass and let my brushes soak in it for about 5 minutes and then rinse them off and let them dry. I prefer cleaning my face brushes atleast twice a month (need to mention that I am not a regular out-goer) my most used brushes are concealer brush, blush brush and powder brushes. Dirty brush can even lead to bacterial infections.

It takes only 10 minutes or even less to dry my Ecotools kabuki brush, RT powder brush and RT blush brush. MAC brush cleanser not only cleanses but also conditions the brush fibers, keeps them soft, clean and fresh. Even the most difficult ones like dense powder brushes, eye shadow brushes. However I am very happy with this one, this brush cleanser is AMAZING!!! It doesn’t take a lot to take all makeup off the brushes. This is my first ever brush cleanser therefore I have no idea how effective other are. I was amazed how fast and effective it is in cleaning all dirt and stains. I brought one bottle of this cleanser, came back home and out of excitement I tried cleaning one of my eye brush. MAC says- Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time and I too have experienced it. This Brush Cleanser is so light and lathers really well (not like any soaping agent but very mild lather). I used to wash my brushes with baby shampoo, I’m so glad I gave this brush cleanser a shot. MAC Brush Cleanser is quite cheap as compared to other MAC products I think it’s cheapest of them all. The time I started collecting makeup brushes I realized it is very important to get a Brush Cleanser as well. Price: I got it for 15$ USD OR 650 INR (Price has increased now) Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. What Mac Claims: This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibers so that brushes will last longer.

I have been using this product to clean and disinfect my makeup brushes and thought its time I should review it too.
